A 31-year-old woman, Taynara Souza Santos, lost both legs after being hit and dragged for more than a kilometer by the car driven by her ex-partner, in the northern area of São Paulo.
The attack happened on Saturday morning and the Civil Police are investigating it as an attempted femicide.
The victim left a bar on Avenida Morvan Dias of Figueiredo when the suspect, upon seeing her talking to another man, accelerated a black Volkswagen Golf towards her.
