Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger, returned to training following his back injury some days ago.

Rudiger sustained the injury while on international duty with Germany national team last week.

The centre-back missed Chelsea’s Premier League 1-0 win against Brentford on Saturday.

However, the 28-year-old returned to Chelsea’s training at Cobham today ahead of the Malmo clash.

He was part of the first-team group that trained ahead of the Champions League group stage game against the Swedish side.

Rudiger has been impressive for Chelsea since Thomas Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard in January.

He is expected to be in contention for the Malmo clash.
