The lady behind the viral voice note shares her experience after a man who collected her number at a restaurant failed to pay for her meal, sparking online discussions.
The young lady at the center of the viral voice note has finally spoken out following her criticism of a man who collected her contact information at a restaurant but neglected to pay for her food.
In her statement, she explained, “I am not regretting what I sent. I went to the guy’s page and saw a lot of people bashing me. I told him to bring the video down, and he hasn’t replied me.
Most of my friends sent the video saying, ‘Ijeoma, is this not your voice?’ I am going to address this.”
She recounted the encounter, saying she met the man at a restaurant while going to get food. “He approached me, said he liked me, and asked for my name.
I told him it’s Ijeoma. He said he wanted to be more than friends with me and asked for my number. At this point, we hadn’t even gotten our food.
We were both just entering the restaurant. After giving him my contact, he ordered his food, and I ordered mine.”
The young lady added, “When it was time to pay, the guy was in the same spot as me where I had ordered.
He never offered to pay for my food. This is someone who found me attractive. He just pretended as if he didn’t even know me.”
Her experience has sparked online conversations, with many sympathizing with her frustration over the man’s behavior and the way the situation went viral.
